5 of the Best Beaches on the Costa Blanca with Free Wifi

Ok, you’ve decided to kick back and relax a bit but you still want to be able to connect if you feel that way inclined or your customer service needs it.

On the Costa Blanca, the town halls have spent the last 5-10 years investing in the installation of Free Wifi on some of the best beaches of the Costa Blanca.  So you can pick up your beach bag, mobile or laptop, and find your own favourite spot to relax.  Here are Costa Remote’s pick of the best:

Playa de Poniente, Benidorm

Playa de San Juan, Alicante

Playa La Malvarrosa, Valenica

Playa de La Manga, Murcia

Playa La Fustera, Benissa

Playa de Poniente, Benidorm

More relaxing than its lively neighbour, Levante Beach, Poniente is a 3 km stretch of clean white sand and clear blue waters.  At the end closest to the town you will find bars and shops accommodating the tourist market.  From the Red Cross station onwards, there are a variety of very nice restaurants and the excellent Madness coffee bar.  Stay connected or upload your selfies and videos.  The town hall offers free Wifi for you. Playa de San Juan, Alicante

Sometimes referred to as the “Madrid beach” as many of the second homes here are owned by Madrileños.  For this reason the beach at San Juan has a Spanish feel (although a modern one) as the apartments a few blocks back from the beach area are owned by Alicante families that grew up in the city as children and moved to San Juan as it was establishing itself as a promising suburb.  Access it easily by the tram from Alicante or from the north coast towards Benidorm. There are a few cafes on the beach but this beach is great for swimming, running or kicking back to relax.

Playa La Malvarrosa, Valencia

Fine golden sand adorns the beach of Malvarrosa, the most famous beach in Valencia. In particular for its beachside restaurants serving up the authentic Paella Valenciana. Diving, paddle boarding, windsurfing and canoeing are some of the activities you can try while keeping in touch with your online business on the go. Plus you can use the free outdoor gyms of which there are a few along the beach.

Playa de La Manga, Murcia

The strip of land that separates the Mar Menor, famous for its natural salt lake and the Mediterranean is home to crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches and the hustle and bustle of a long established tourist resort.  Get up early and watch the sunrise from the Med’ or find a quiet spot in the evening to watch it set over the Mar Menor.

Playa La Fustera, Benissa

Served on either side by the Paseo Ecologico de Benissa which is a 3.5km coastal path  which spans the Benissa coastline from Benissa Beach to the outdoor gym just before Baladrar.  It’s a nature trail of rocky cliffs and coves with spectacular views across to Calpe’s Ifach rock and along the Benissa coastline.  Stop at La Fustera beach for a short break to catch up on work, find out about the indigineous Neptune Grass or simply to stop and take in the view.
